Summary
He is a person, trapped in a nightmare. He is a vessel, the holder of unthinkable power bestowed upon him- or perhaps stored within him- by Cthulhu with a crush. He is a conduit, the aperture through which untold horror was brought into the world. He is a tool, a treasure, a toy. He is the Archivist and the Archive. Perhaps Melanie was the most correct, when she called him the Ceaseless Watcher’s special little boy. He certainly feels small, in the face of the waves of all-consuming- obsession? Possessiveness? It isn’t love.
