Summary
Deep into his gold sickness, the other dwarves have found that the only thing keeping Thorin alive is Belladonna's prompting. In her injured state, it's not like she can do much on her own. She knows that the only reason he's being so affectionate is whatever veil of obsession lays in his eyes, she almost wishes he would stay mad to keep that level of affection.
