At least, that’s what she tells herself...until he strolls in, smug as ever, and she panics. In a flash of desperation, she kisses the first man who walks through the door.Unfortunately, that man is Zandik: intimidating, brilliant, emotionally unavailable, and very much not amused.
Zandik’s research funding is frozen, his patience is thin, and the last thing he needs is a florist with impulse control issues. But pretending to date her? Fine. Temporary. Strictly for appearances, to save his funding.
