Set in a special fantasy AU involving the Chinese zodiac. The Jiang family reside over the snakes and the Lan family are comprised of mighty dragons. With a number of other fantasy creatures outside the zodiac as well.
The Lan Dragon Clan are the most revered of the 12 Zodiac families and Lan Xichen currently presides as the Heavenly Dragon Emperor. He is a benevolent ruler that is well respected and a pillar for the other families, like the Jiang Snakes and the Jin Tigers. All the Clans appear to enjoy an amiable relationship and Lan Xichen gets along well with all the family heads. Though he might view a certain Snake in an even more favorable light…
A fated meeting between the unique being adopted into his Dragon Clan, Lan Yuan, and the Jin Tiger’s special golden prince, Jin Ling, starts out as a dear friendship.
