"Yes, I am fully aware that you could have taken the hit. But then you would have spent the rest of the night healing," Peter sassed, masking the discomfort of the wound.
"Ah yes because spending the rest of the week healing is better than a few hours," Wade retorted. Silence fell over the room, more like the flat, actually more like the whole complex was riddled with the tension coming from the couple on the eighth floor. Wade felt bad at the comment but it was true, Peter was going to be out for the rest of the week healing. His healing factors may be quicker than the normal person but it didn't take away from the fact the Wade would have healed a lot quicker, "Sorry," Wade voiced quietly.
