They sit together on top of the world. Their world, small as it is, filled with color and sound even as darkness has fallen. Watching Oxenfurt at night from a rooftop might sound a little cliché, but it is cliché for a reason. It has a dreamlike quality to it, being made all the more special being there with each other.
Jaskier leans back against a chimney, warm against his back, and passes the bottle of wine over to Priss. Next to her sits Valdo, Essi and Dandelion. It is a bit tight, but they work around that by sitting all over each other, legs tangled and heads leaning on shoulders.
