  Summary

  As Western Kindred society feels the enveloping tendrils of Gehenna, Beckett mourns the loss of his best friend. It's fine. Everything's fine.

  So he goes on "vacation," hoping that another material pursuit and the mess in Seattle might fuel his next move and restore his waning will to live. He soon finds, as undignified as it may be, that there really is no rest for the wicked.
