With Player unable to locate them, they're on their own to get out. Carmen doesn't mind, though. It feels nice to be back in the field with the siblings again. But as they start exhibiting unexplainable symptoms, it becomes clear this isn't the team bonding trip she'd hoped for.

Only difference in this AU is him needing to have sex with the Forest Spirits to receive their strength, he knows this and is prepared for it but still finds himself nervous.

Almost a year has passed since Pastry Cookie first learned the truth about the creation of Cookies, and she still suffers from intense nightmares about her experience there. She has kept the secret about Witches close to her in all that time, not telling a soul. However, as summer begins, she feels that her nightmares are getting worse.
Things only get more confusing when other cookies in the kingdom also begin to have horrible nightmares. All of them seemingly being about a big, black furnace with domineering power and influence. Cookies begin to have visions of the past, or of horrid monsters that aren't there, and Pastry Cookie knows that somehow it is linked to the Hearth Shrine she visited when she first learned the secret.
She vows to research as much as she can to hopefully fix this issue, but all of her reading leads her back to her enemy. And between dealing with the night terrors and Red Velvet Cookie, she'd choose the nightmares each time.
To solve this mystery she must put aside her grievances and dare to face the Hearth once more, this time with her enemy by her side.
