Alena had stopped in her tracks, and he turned around to look at her. She was staring past him towards the open door with wide eyes, as if far gone. When she found back a moment later, she started shaking and fell down to her knees. She was breathing heavily, as if gasping for air.
Sam hurried to her side. “What happened?” he asked her worriedly.
Alena didn’t look at him, but at her shaking hands. “I think, I just – I just imprinted.”
