Summary
IIt's been so long since Stiles even payed atention to the bonds on his chest. He doesn't think of mornings on a house packed full of family and laugther on the air when he walks to the kitched and helps himself to the coffee his father leaves for him in the mornings. He doesn't think ofthe soft black fur or a comanding yet soothing voice when he smells something in the air he's forgotten the name of. He doesn't stop to gawk, like a moron would, to the gut wrenching agonizing memories of his pack.
He turns his head away, like a petulant child whenever any ghosts that cling to his gut rear their head up, roar of his name and beggs for atention. He's gotten pretty good at ignoring all of that over the years. So excuse him, if he never realized Derek Hale was back in Beacon Hills.
Never mind that Derek got himself a new pack while he was away.
Good for him. No, really, good for him. The very last thing Stiles would have wished for him was to go omega.
He's not ready for the Argents, a feral Alpha, a kanima and Moon knows what else. But he's good at improvising, rolls with the punches and upgrades his bat, when the chaos around them outgrows it.
