Namjoon sounded like he was about to choke on his words.
How? How did he figure it out? Yoongi was careful. So, so careful. He made sure never to talk to Namjoon directly. He even asked on forums if texting and hand written notes counted. Then Yoongi saw Namjoon's left wrist. Where his matching tattoo sat, waiting to be spoken.
With gentle hands, Yoongi held Namjoon's wrist and turned it over to see five short words. The five words Yoongi had typed into their text chat and promptly deleted. Five words that Yoongi hadn't realized that he had actually spoken out loud with a fond whisper as he typed them: "You idiot, I love you."
And then Yoongi spoke for the second time ever towards Namjoon.
Just one word this time.
"Fuck."
