Summary
Betrayed by the man he had sworn to protect with his life, Cloud finds a second chance at life as a companion to one of the planet’s gods. Cloud learns that this life also has its own hardships and while he finds friendship in unlikely places, he finds out that not all bonds last forever. Feeling betrayed by the man he loved, Cloud pursues purpose to mend a broken heart. A rare meeting occurs at a moment of turmoil and Cloud is left to fight against himself. This budding friendship is spinning out of control so quickly and Cloud doesn’t really mind at all. Bonds of old resurface and Cloud is left to wonder if maybe it’s time to be a little selfish.
