Summary
Diana Reid has been schizophrenic for a very long time, and when the Altzheimer's hit, it didn't help at all. Spencer knows very well how bad the situation is. How bad it was. How bad it should be. But, she's been getting better, recently. Not less paranoid, but more coherent. And he keeps waiting for the other shoe to drop.
(And in the background, Chaz makes bad decisions, like the Anomaly hasn't given enough to feel guilty about.)
