The First Order is in turmoil: divided and torn, it is at risk of falling apart before the Resistance even resurfaces. Supreme Leader Kylo Ren's accession has failed to unite the Order and its councils against any kind of common cause, all while General Armitage Hux attempts to clean up the mess left behind following the Battle of Crait. Promoting General Hux as his personal adviser may be the only thing Ren can do to prevent the collapse of the Order, but can the two survive the conflict, as well as surviving one another?
Set immediately after the end of The Last Jedi. My attempt at an alternative ending to the story of the First Order.

Kylo falls into him, pummeling him relentlessly, embracing him, kissing his name into silken hair. “Armitage,” Kylo repeats, enjoying the tumble of phonemes no less the second time and temporarily withholding his ugly grunts to whisper into Hux’s ear: “I could fucking marry you.” He means it, overcome with the realization he will never want nor need anyone else ever again.
Up next: Kylo is perpetually horny, yet eerily sweet to a very confused Hux who barely know what’s real anymore.
