Summary
Without realizing it, Tommy had started absentmindedly digging into the soft dirt with his hands. He wasn’t sure what had gotten over him, some bitter sense of nostalgia, throwing a dumb old bloodied coat into the hole, to which had too much meaning, too much, to him. What I'm doing is stupid, he thought to himself as he buried the coat, which was dark and rough and colored like the dirt he was burying it with.
Tommy’s heart twisted as he built a cobblestone grave and added a small wooden sign with messy handwriting.
