“I’m not going with you,” Grian growls dangerously at the Watcher before him, planting his feet in the sand. “Never, you can’t make–”
“You will come home.” The Watcher booms. “You will, or we’ll never stop playing. You will play our games for eternity, over and over.”
They grin, something sharp and pleased. A razor's edge balanced carefully on their lips, as if they have already won. The Watcher raises a hand.
