Summary
Hob begs away to the roof for some air and makes a detour to the bathroom on the third floor.
He is tempted, just for a moment, to open the door to the space under the sink, to see what, if anything, remains there, but is able to stay his hand. Instead, Hob reaches into his back pocket and pulls out a rather thick envelope, a letter, sealed, with Dream scrawled on the outside. He props it up behind the faucet of the sink, the cream-white of the paper stark against the dark charcoal marble of the countertop and wall tiles.
“Well, you asked.” He nods once and heads up to the roof.
