Summary
After the Battle of Five Armies, Bilbo is emotionally exhausted about everything. Part of him wants to go back to the Shire, and the other part of him wants to stay in Erebor to make sure Thorïn, Kíli, and Fíli make it through their recoveries alive. However, he gets a bit caught up in royal politics while Thorïn is out of sorts and finds out he’s rather good at being diplomatic and plannings. Cue Bilbo in an accidental seat of power and shenanigans from the dwarves and hobbits with lots of love.

Aleksander had waited centuries to meet the sun summoner. When he was young, the idea of a sun summoner had captured him instantly. They would be someone like him, who would understand what it was to be different, even from other Grisha. He would no longer have to be alone with only his mother for company; he would no longer have to hide. As he got older, his expectations for a sun summoner changed.
