Summary
It’s spring of 1963 in Andalusia, Spain, two weeks after Patsy and Delia left Poplar to travel the world. After navigating the country in a rental car, and hopping from hotel to hotel for the past fourteen days, the couple has found a quiet place to settle down for the next month—in a guest house of a fictional hacienda that faces Morocco, a country that can be seen across the sparkling blue waters on a clear day.
It is there, on the edge of the sea, that Patsy learns—some old habits really do die hard.

Summary
Modern AU. Twenty-nine-year-old heiress, Patience Mount, feels as if she is a ghost. The knowledge that she will likely die young—and the frequent feeling that she is already dead—weighs heavily on her shoulders like a mourning shawl. When her mother and sister were diagnosed with a rare mitochondrial disorder (MNGIE), she came home from her travels in South-East Asia to be closer to them. When her younger sister succumbed to her illness three years ago, and her mother only eight days later from grief exasperating her condition, she moved back into her childhood home to live and grieve with her father—who died of Lou Gehrig’s (ALS) disease six months ago. After enduring every test known to medicine, after months of genetic screens, medical imaging, muscle biopsies, and even a spinal tap to determine if she will soon suffer the same fate as her dearly departeds, her results have come back in big bold letters: INCONCLUSIVE.
Delia Busby is a hospice nurse who has arrived in London from Cardiff to start her PhD at King’s College.
Their paths cross one night at a sapphic bar on the West End.
A short story.

Summary
After the cycling accident, Delia goes home to Pembrokeshire with no memory of the life she had in London. As she recovers, she finds herself waking up in the morning thinking she’s in year eleven and she has to get ready for school! In the midst of her boredom in a home without a telephone, nor a television set, she finds a hidden stack of letters from a gentleman, she assumed, named Pats. Slowly, she falls in love with this mystery man who writes of their adventures around London. When she can no longer bear the mystery, she runs away in the middle of the night with some money for a bus ticket and the return address on the letters.
To her surprise, she finds herself at a spotless flat with a jug of flowers on the windowsill.
A short story. Inspired by the 1967 movie of the same name.

Summary
Whilst at the shops, Delia hears a song that reminds her of her wife: Dark Horse by Canadian singer-songwriter, Amanda Marshall. She quickly runs to the record store to find a copy, but the newly released album has yet to make it to San Francisco. Luckily, the young man behind the counter tells her that the song, like most songs, can be found on The Internet.
This prompts 58 year old Delia to navigate the World Wide Web to find the song for her lover.

When Patsy and Delia’s documentary aired on BBC in November of 2005, one of the truck girls recognized them and contacted the producer to get in touch.
Thus, a reunion commenced at a convent none other than Nonnatus House.
Trigger warning: miscarriage mentioned, Barbara’s death mentioned.

Summary
Patsy is in the early stages of dementia and, her memory having once been her greatest asset, is struggling to adjust. Ever medically-minded, she and Delia concoct a plan to stem the advancing disease, based on Delia’s recollections of recovering from her accident and Patsy’s love of gardening. Plot a mixture of current interactions and flashbacks from throughout their history. Hopefully an appropriate balance of angst (all of which has nothing to do with their relationship) and fluff (which has everything to do with their relationship).

Summary
In a world fixated on flowers, Patience Elizabeth Mount felt like a weed.
Meanwhile, Delia Braith Busby was determined they would find an efficacious spot in which to flourish.
That was how things began between them, at any rate - before they were both in full bloom.
(A soulmates AU; starting pre-canon when Patsy and Delia met as students.)

A post-canon multichapter fic charting the progression of Patsy and Delia’s relationship alongside the trials and triumphs of UK LGBTQUIA+ history.
Spanning all the way from 1967 to 2022 (yes, you read that right!), this story explores love and loss, fun and friendship, struggle and solidarity. It’s inspired and structured by a soundtrack of songs from all the different eras it crosses.

Summary
My take on a series 7 for our faves, mostly focussed on Patsy's recovery after Hong Kong and everything that trip brings up. Multichapter, open-ended, though vaguely based around songs by the British Indie band Keane, hence the title, from their first album, 'Hopes and Fears'.
Content Warnings and Songs provided with each chapter - but expect an emotional rollercoaster with Delia and the rest of the Nonnatuns being steadfast in their solidarity and helping Patsy grow.
