Summary
Sometimes, if provoked with food, Daredevil would join him. After a patrol, Peter would swing his legs back and forth as Daredevil sat a careful distance away, reopening the scabs on his knuckles or poking the tender, blue parts of his skin.
“So, are rhinos kinda like un-magical unicorns?” Peter asked around a mouthful of ice cream.
“I don’t know.”
“If that’s true, does that mean that narwhals are mermaid rhinos?”
“Shh.”
“Mer-rhino? Rhinaid? God that sounds like a venereal disease.”
“You sound like a venereal disease.”
(Or, not all heroes wear capes but too many wear masks. Peter tries to figure out what that means for Spider-Man. He gets some help along the way.)
