When Rin follows the rest of Blue Lock to Rome, in Italy, it's supposed to be only for three days: he thinks that it's right for him to go, since another football player around his age has been murdered in his own apartment.
But, as soon as Rin steps foot in Italy, weird, unsettling events start happening to him, and he finds himself the target of a group of killers who call themselves 'Empty Face' and enjoy murdering football players through references to famous horror movies.
