Rewrite of "How'd We Meet? Video Games"
Hello Ultimate Mecha Strike Players! You are currently one of the top 150 players for your server. You have been entered into an international tournament! Each player will be randomly paired with 6 other people, from all over the world. You will have 10 weeks to prepare before the tournament. May the best Mecha team win!
No one could have predicted what one video game tournament would turn into, but it sets these seven kids on a path that would shape the next generation of superheroes.

If there was one thing Stiles could say about his experience with the Nogitsune, he'd say it was educational. Every single moment with the Dark Fox was a learning experience, even the past with Kira's mom.
He learned that being silent and observant yields more answers than if he were to demand them. He learned that trust is easy to lose, even when he's proven time and again that he'd give his life for those he cares about. He's learned that bonds, whether it's with friends or family, are fickle and fragile. There will always be something that breaks it, no matter how much he tries to hold it together. He's learned many things but it'd take too long to list.
But the first and most difficult thing he learned was to let go and move on. His friends are unreliable at his time of need? Let them go. Nothing's changed. His dad is barely home? Let him go. It's not the first time. Everyone avoids him when he tries to communicate? Okay, then make it easier for them and leave.
So that what he does, he packs his things, writes a note for his dad and leaves.
