Summary
What do you do after years of feeling like you had nothing to live for? What do you do when you find someone that you love in the worst possible places? What do you do if they sacrifice themselves for you?
Leon Kennedy and James Sunderland have traveled through the backwaters of Spain together to rescue the president’s daughter and take down the local cult. In an act of selflessness - or just complete disregard for his own safety - James sacrifices himself for Leon. Leon fights to get James out of there and somehow, he survives. As James lies unconscious recovering from his injuries, Leon tries to deny how strong his feelings are. He lives a dangerous life - having attachments can be a distraction and lead to heartbreak - is it fair to put James through that? James wonders why Leon saved him and cares for him despite everything. Why would Leon even want him now that he knows all of James’ shortcomings?
Together, Leon and James find the comfort that they both wanted and needed for so long in each other. There’s many adventures to be had as a couple in an unforgiving world with horrors both manmade and supernatural. They’ll meet some new friends along the way and, hopefully, live happily ever after.

The swap reality of Seong Gi-hun being in the games 2015, winning them and becoming the front man instead, while In-Ho never joined, and was instead left to grieve over his wife and stay in debt for 11 years.
Now, in 2025, In-Ho is approached by a man in a suit and is offered money if he plays ddakji with him, after winning, he is then offered a card and a chance to get out of the debt he is in. Joining the game, In-Ho starts on his journey, whether it brings him down a dark path or not.
Seong Gi-hun on the otherhand, of standing by and watching the same downfall each time and decides to join the game this time. Secretly the Frontman disguising as a player. There, Gi-hun meets an old friend, and an interesting player. Feelings sprout out, and Gi-hun begins to question his rule of the Frontman, a long with why he joined the games.
