Adriana doesn’t tell their parents that she’s going to LA. She doesn’t tell Eddie, either—or ask, for that matter.
She does ask Chris, and he thinks it’s a good idea—says as much, on the phone, and doesn’t say much else.
“Buck will probably be hovering,” is what Chris does volunteer.
It still surprises her when the man who opens the door is not Eddie. It’s—Captain America, is the thing that actually comes to mind—a man close to a foot taller than she is, if not more than that, with blond curls and broad shoulders, and he’s got a question in his very blue eyes that’s probably less friendly than the one he actually asks her.
“Uh,” he says. “Can I help you?”

Summary
There’s no question that Henry is the love of her little brother’s life. He’s perfect for him, if June’s being honest: handsome, calm, generous, genuine. He’s even got a pretty good sense of humor underneath all of the etiquette.
The only problem is that she’s never heard of a Henry Fox before; hadn’t even known that Alex finally figured that part of himself out; and the only problem is that she’s met him by accident in the middle of a hospital waiting room, with her brother's life in an unknown limbo on the other side.

Henry shrugs off his suit jacket and tie, looking his usual annoyingly handsome self while Alex stifles a yawn in spite of the amount of caffeine in his system.
“You’re a sight for sore eyes,” Henry says, looking all kinds of fond. Alex feels a little ridiculous in his tousled hair, glasses and the ratty NYU sweatshirt, but finds an answering warmth spreading through him anyway as he lets himself be kissed hello.
“Hi, sweetheart,” he says, leaning back into the chair while Henry leans against the desk.
