The re of remember implied the past, a retreading of things that already happened. But Caroline hadn't died yet and still, she remembered. She remembered the hospital bed, the fluorescent lights, the feeling of being smothered, and the cavernous hunger that accompanied her resurrection.

[a hard decision and an even harder spell later, caroline winds up back at the start of everything. and it turns out she's not the only one.]

Caroline Forbes is not special. She knows it, the whole town of Mystic Falls seems to know it as well.

When her perfectly constructed life goes up in shambles, what other choice does she have?

    ----
Similar to canon at the start with some adjustments. We'll quickly lose the Mystic Falls plot after the first chapters.

    Summary

Not necessarily an ideal situation but I'm willing to try and find the positives. At least so I can have something pleasant to look forward to. Being Bella Swan was an unexpected challenge but, you know, it could have been worse. I could have been reborn into Twilight without knowing anything about anything and have to stumble my way through like Bella had!

    This was... fine.

    Summary

As much as she wished she could control it, even at 18 she couldn’t stop the way the tears would build up whenever she was stressed, or scared, or just plain upset. She also couldn’t help the fact that once everyone found out what was going on behind closed doors at her birth father’s house, everyone took it upon theirselves to try to play “savior.”

So, yes, Isla Fawn Sommers was the resident town pity project and apparent crybaby.

Despite the fact that she tried her hardest to be normal, she never felt truly whole, never felt truly safe. Not until she met one Mikaelson—and certainly not until she met the rest of them.

Getting kidnapped may have sucked, but she wouldn’t change it for the world. Not when she had met one of her soulmates because of it, not when she had met all of them.

Now that they had her, they’d never let her go. She was their sun, their moon, their stars, their earth, their galaxy. She was their everything. She was their darling Fawn, always and forever.

It just sucked that Elena and her friends didn’t seem to understand that.
