Milkshake wasn’t entirely involved in all of Messis’s business, though he did understand the basics: Mafias were large, and there were many high-paid, high-experienced members. Mafias had enemies, who they would have run-ins with quite regularly—or, if they were lucky, warehouses wouldn’t be messed with and there would be peace for an amount of time. But, unfortunately, it never lasted forever. There was always a war around the corner.
Even if wars were just killing people until the boss decided that he or she was satisfied with the numbers. -
