After becoming the savor of Baldur's Gate Tav joined her lover, Gale, back to his hometown of Waterdeep. Gale soon found himself working at Blackstaff Academy teaching the future wizards of the Sword Coast. The two newlyweds enjoyed their new domestic life together until a terrible accident unfolded at the academy.
Gale froze as he stared into the eyes of his lover. Certainly, she was joking, right? Tav had always used humor in the face of stressful situations. This, however, was neither the time nor place for such whimsy. When Tav never broke eye contact and asked a second time with more sincerity, Gale felt like his frantically beating heart was ripped right out of his chest.
"Do I know you?" Tav asked.
