Lumine exhaled a laugh. “If you can’t help, why should I share?”
Albedo blinked then shook his head. He swallowed. “You don’t have to tell me. But, being perfectly honest, if my presence doesn’t affect you, then perhaps it would be better if Klee and I waited for you back at Mondstadt.”
Reeling from meeting Aether 500 years in the past, Lumine sinks to rock bottom. She's so absorbed with chasing Aether on her journey, Albedo fears their marriage is hanging in the balance.

Lips parted, Hu Tao widened her eyes. “Are you… are you proposing to me, mighty yaksha?”
After a near-death experience, Xiao rescues Hu Tao, who is badly injured. Determined to live a long life with her, Xiao proposes. But Hu Tao can only accept it on one condition.

Albedo shrugged. “Perhaps not. But after a hard day’s work—after everything that I’ve been through—why not enjoy myself? Why not give myself what I want?”
Lumine stilled. She studied every inch of Albedo. His unkempt, fluffy hair. His high cheekbones and sharp jawline gave him a regal, ethereal air. How he held himself with such grace and poise befitting royalty. Catching her gaze, Albedo gave her a soft, private smile.
Thrill running down her spine, Lumine felt her lips curl into a smile. “Yes, why not?”
Reeling from seeing Aether in Sumeru, Lumine returns to Mondstadt and runs into Albedo. This time she won't let another man slip from her fingers.

“Don’t remember—?” Ei inhaled sharply. Brows furrowed, she studied him. Read the unusual flow of energy within him. “You… you are the unaccounted-for puppet from my memory.”

The music screeched to a halt. All other voices hushed. A mortal girl, Hu Tao, stood on the bridge leading to the inn. She grinned.

Wide-eyed, they stared. They burst into tears.
“Noooo!” wailed Xiangling.
“I only just started!” cried Chongyun.
“I-it’s okay, it’s okay! I’ll get you new ones! Just stop crying…!”
