Summary
After failing his Masters exams again, Airbender Castiel is sent on a trip to trade with Zacharaiah, the owner of a vinyard and villa, for the Southern Air Temple. He's not good for anything else aparently. He only meant to secure the trade agreement for another year, but instead a thief named Dean drags him into an explosive adventure, and in doing so, he uncovers some of his own past, as well as a curiosity about this Earthbending robber he falls in with.
An Alternate Universe with the characters from Supernatural in the Avatar world. Set when tensions are high, Azulon is on the Fire Throne and the Hundred Year war is about to start. Can be read without having watched Avatar, I put in enough information I believe, but let me know if there are questions. The first installment in a series.

Castiel meets April Kelly by a trash can. But what if she is homeless too, a wounded war veteran who has more in common with Castiel --and Dean, than Castiel expected.
Basically a re-imagining of the character of April Kelly, and what I had hoped would happen when we learned that Castiel would sleep with someone. A happier encounter, with two people who just want to connect with another human being in the rainy night.

In all his years of amatuer plumbing, Dean had never seen something so nasty. He half wanted to pull out the EMF meter. Guess that’s what you get when you live in a place that is old as balls, and had been closed up for over sixty years.

Summary
Without much to offer in the way of farewell, Castiel sacrifices himself as a final seal on the trials. Dean is left shattered and Sam, still recovering, calls Charlie to help him pick up the pieces.
But the next day, Sam gets a call from Castiel, who's about to be discharged from Lawrence Memorial Hospital, in great need of help and insistent that Dean be kept in the dark about his survival, at least until he gets his sea-legs.
Note: This verse reads as one continuous story through part 31. Some sections overlap as told from different pov.
