Kenma knows that he’s not completely okay with his life and himself. Aside from his complicated feelings towards relationships and the fact that he isn’t where he wanted to be with his job, he feels as if he’s somehow ‘left behind’ by the world and alone to float throughout his life. That is, until he encounters a new task with his beta-testing job: conversing with an emotionally intelligent AI named Kuroo. Despite the fact that he’s made up of one’s and zero’s, Kenma finds himself relating to Kuroo in a way that he never felt with other people and taking steps in his life that he thought he wouldn’t be able to take. All the while, remembering that Kuroo is supposed to be just an AI.

Yatora sees the plea in how Yotasuke’s chest moves as he breathes; a delicate rise and fall, slow and easy. Each breath puffs out into the cold air in front of him; Yatora cannot help as to how his lips quiver at the edges and how he starts to smile. (Am I good now, am I yours?)

The invitation did hold an option of a Plus One and it would be beneficial to have the detective somewhere he could monitor him. He sighed a weary sigh that Ranpo just knew meant he was considering to give in. With a beaming smile, Ranpo chimed "Thanks President, I knew you'd see things my way!" and walked out the office. He's handled Ranpo for just over 12 years, he could handle 2 weeks.
Edogawa Ranpo and Fukuzawa Yukichi have gone one a cruise sponsored by one of Fukuzawa's former clients from his bodyguarding days. It seemed that they were going to have a nice typical mini vacation as they head towards the Philipines but this gets grinded to a halt the moment a wealthy heiress on board gets murdered.
Ranpo would have to use his detective skills and keep his wits about him in order to solve the case and find the murderer in time before more people got killed or worse, before a rival detective figures out whodunnit first.Bookmarked by Astra_an
