His mother mourned him but went on with her life. The heroes swore to be better, but still made the same mistakes. And for four years, everyone believed he was until Aizawa caught sight of a well-known vigilante and decided to investigate. Everyone believed it until Yagi bumped into a kind child on the street and tried to give him hope.

But as teachers and students continued to gossip about his so-called weaknesses, he grew tired.
He didn’t want to believe that UA would be just like every other school, but the truth was right there in front of him.
He only had one job left to do.
Prove them wrong.

Summary
Midoriya Izuku's dreams were shattered on the rooftop that day. Worse, none of the pros seem to believe that a quirkless nobody could ever be a hero. They're probably right, but he's still determined to try, especially since the heroes don't seem to be doing all that great at their jobs anyway. Izuku will do whatever it takes to save people, even if that means coming into contact with several shady characters for help. His methods might be a little strange, but in a world determined to shut him out, he has to make do with what he can.

Summary
Midoriya Izuku has spent his whole life being told he was useless. That he could never amount to anything. So when someone finally believes in him, he's willing to overlook some of his moral objections. Besides, he's smart, maybe he can keep them from hurting anyone?
Uraraka Ochako doesn't want to be a hero for any grand reasons. She just wants to be able to pay her parents back for all they've done for her. But once she gets to U. A, she's told that she has the potential to do so much more. It's just, she doesn't necessarily believe it yet.
Shinso Hitoshi has always wanted to be a hero, if for no other reason than to prove wrong all of the people who said he would end up a villain. With his new friend's help, his dream might just be within reach. And he'll do whatever he can to repay that favor.
