Meanwhile Bugs notices, that Daffy is acting... a little bit off latley. He is, for the most part, himself, but there are these small moments, these small slip ups, that happen more and more often, that reveal something different, hidden behind the arrogant, selfish personality of his best friend.

Sam has a lot to work through. After all, he just had his first openly vulnarable moment with another person since most likley many, many years. Sam never dared to be vulnarable before and now that he has been, the consequences are disastorous. Sadly, Sam was never really good with consequences.

What does it truly mean to be at home? It took Jekyll a long time to understand you could never be truly at home, so long as you are divided in yourself. And maybe he wasn't the only one whose truest whish was this: To be at home. Safe and loved without any condition or judgement attached. So, Jekyll extended his hand. The only thing left to see was, if Hyde would except it.

Summary
In which Jekyll and Hyde have managed to split themselves into two separate, physical beings and are now leading equally separate lives. Jekyll in the familiar safety of his home and Hyde out on the streets, still having to lay low somewhere for having committed one not so nice murder on a respected member of society. But in the end, being separate, hasn´t turned out to be as great of a blessing, as they might have initially thought. Sound sleep, for example, has become inexplicably harder to get.
Or: Two angsty, hopeless insomniacs meet in the kitchen in the middle of the night and decide to do something about it.
