Summary
There is a certain type of thrill that comes with terrorising humans. Finding vulnerable people, conveniently placing summoning instructions near them, occasionally making deals, toying with them and lastly devouring them – mind and soul.
On paper, that sounds like a simple set of steps, but the possibilities are endless. All you need is a bit of creativity. You can play into someone’s fears and trap them in a small room with multiple hungry dogs or maybe isolate them from all their loved ones and make them question if they even exist. All things Dazai has done before.
But after existing in such a way for multiple millennia, Dazai is tired.Or: Dazai is a demon that feeds on people's pain and misery, but after having a midlife crisis, he starts working at a psychiatric hospital and gets really attached to some humans.

At fourteen, Dazai is the one to find Chuuya after the lab explosion.

He watches Chuuya fall asleep, slow and soft, in small bits. He is so beautiful, and he is mine. All mine.
I am the first person he smiled at.
I am the first person who said his name.
I am the first person who has held him like this.
He is mine. He will always be mine now, after these things.
Dazai thinks, for a moment, that he might not ever get to feel things, or see the world the way most people do, or find a reason to live. But he can live for this, for him. For this boy. He does not care about birds or parks or trees or people, does not feel all that much when he sees the sunrise or sunset or the stars and the moon. He does not like dogs or children. He does not like the world.
But he likes Chuuya. He likes the way Chuuya looks when he is looking at all these things.

Studio Ghibli x BSD au!! <3
" Chuuya sat alone on the cliff off a hill - any noise apart from soft wind having long passed.
Low beneath him was emerald grass fields and countless rice water paddocks.
The sun shimmered up the grass, and the wind would brisk it smoothly to one side, so from where Chuuya sat, it all gave the illusion the world was tilted.
One could almost say, that, the 'waste' wasn't the right name for it at all. "-OR-
Chuuya is a fox hybrid who runs wild in the waste, until he is found by Dazai, the boy who owns the famous 'Moving Castle'.
(I impulsively wrote this and its totally freeform, might not be continued, idk. And yes, I'm sorry the first chap is short 🙏. Inspo from studio Ghibli movies such as Howls Moving Castle and Princess Mononoke)
