A series of one shots taken place in the same timeline as my larger fic Long and Winding Road spanning the years of Taichi and Yamato's relationship.
Despite all existing in the same universe, these can be easily read as stand alone works. Where connections/references exist, a hyper link has been added if a reader wants to explore more.

Summary
The dark-lighter arrow had burned when it pierced through his skin, lodging in his shoulder, spreading its poison throughout his body. Chris felt it sear, painfully, in his blood. Almost as much as his head pounded where he struck it when he fell. Not nearly as painful as the dark-lighter tearing the arrow from his body before it shimmered away.
Chris’ vision wavered from blurry to black, occasionally whiting out completely when he tried to move. Still, he could make out the growing red puddle pooling underneath him. That was a problem, he knew.Bookmarked by BadWolf_89

Fighting demons sometimes meant losing fights to demons, Chris knew that all too well. Except it was different when it was someone else getting hurt and there was nothing he could do to save them. There was never anything he could do.
