Pietro blinked again, the name not quite anchoring. “Wanda…” he repeated, faint. “I know that name.”
Erik’s heart cracked a little further. “You do,” he said, placing the glass beside the bed. “You always have.”
Pietro looked at him then, really looked. His eyes searched Erik’s face, narrowing faintly. Not with recognition, but with the primal, distant wariness of someone who knows they’ve seen fire but can’t yet place the burn.

"I know I'm not... your Pietro," He said, looking at Erik with a tentative smile, "but... I've dealt with variants of my family before, so... if me being here helps, well..." He shrugged and added, "I'll do what I can."

Summary
Peter leans against the table of the interrogation room, drumming his fingers on it. He has large shackles around his neck and hands. He’s been in there for hours, but no one has come in. No one’s even told him what he’s there for. They just ran up to him as he was walking home, and dragged him to the police station. They put these shackles on him as soon as they grabbed him on the street. They were far more aggressive than they needed to be too.
Though to be fair, he had half a mind to run as soon as he realized that they were approaching him. He barely stopped himself, but since he didn’t do anything wrong, he has to assume that it’s a mistake of some sort.
