Geralt remembers everything she said. He remembers the day they met, the pride in her eyes as she glided across the ice with such elegance no child at that age should possibly have, the way she asked him if he’s alright with a hint of mockery in her eyes as he tripped over himself. Her hair flew in the wind, and that was it.
There has been no one else for him since.
