    A collection of short stories I wrote about a year or so back and decided to edit.

    Have a peak into a world of magic where ‘essence’ can only be formed through acts of submission, service and protocol, but has to be harnessed and controlled by a dominant ‘Channeler’ to reach beyond rudimentary displays of force.

    In 'Somebodies' we follow Alice as she endures her final test to become a source.
    In 'Her Source' we follow Johanna, a new graduate as she meets her source for the first time.
    In 'On Display' Holly, as her channeler is tasked with protecting a grand ball.

    I hope you enjoy these little stories as much as I enjoyed writing them.

    In a land of Faith, the Order of Knights made to fight the forces of evil and sin are on their last legs. The grand Crusades of the past have had their glories and victories eroded through decades of infighting and attritrion.

    Now, the Holy Order makes one last stand to the forces of the Demon Salts, to protect their holy places from being desecrated.

    Among them is Maeve Ci Talia, a young Knight dedicated to her faith, and if her Lord has need of her to die in battle, she will do so.

    Fate is not kind, however. The ancient arcane laws supercede those of the mortal faith, and an old law of the Master's Mark shall disrupt that sense of faith. By binding her to the leader of the sinful creatures threatening her lands.
