A deal is made. The parasite would leave the caterpillar be. She would not torment them with unending nightmares for her own amusement.
And in exchange, the war weapon would allow the parasite to visit whenever she wished, even if she didn't understand her motivations.
The air is tense, no matter how much time they spend with each other. The parasite is brash and rude, with an ego fuelled by anger and pain. The war weapon is a seemingly emotionless being who throws herself so deep into work that she often forgets to take time to herself. Neither of them consider each other friends.
Yet neither of them could deny their similarities. -
