They sat there together, Jade looking ahead without seeing, Tabitha with her head still in her hands. He can’t think of any words, any thoughts. He thinks he’s in shock. How to process over a dozen lifetimes of memories, Jade didn’t know. He can’t even pinpoint how many lives he lived. All of them ending in a violent death in this place. Over and over. A cycle.
