His eyes stay lowered as he presents them to you, but the warm, living scent of him wafts closer, stirring that familiar pang in your fangs. Astarion’s hand rests lightly on your shoulder—a silent, steadying presence—and you relax. Hamlaith hesitates, unsure where to set the tray until you pat the platform beside you. Smiling softly, you direct, “Right here is fine, Hamlaith."
Astarion leans low, catching the footman’s eye with a wolfish grin. “Thank you, Hamlaith.” A flush sweeps over the servant’s face.
