Summary
Hadrizahens is part of an alien robot race known as the Korvax. As a member of his race, he is expected to fulfill a specific role in society. As a sentient being, he is unsatisfied with that role. He dreams of greater adventures in an endless universe. Theus is a mysterious entity of unknown origin, known only as the Travellers. He wanders the galaxies aimlessly at his leisure, but is burdened by his past and isolated by his knowledge. In an infinite universe, against all odds, these two lifeforms meet and their lives are forever changed as their destinies become tangled together. In retrospect it was a very stupid idea to try a little taste of the dead woman, the one who'd perished by the overturned caravan. For one, the single swallow Astarion had managed hadn't even tasted good. Her blood had spoiled after the long hours spent baking in the hot sun.
And of course he'd been caught. Like the fool he is, fangs out and dripping with the putrid blood in plain sight of the handsome Blade of Frontiers.
