She was certainly right in her assessment that they’d made it past the dirt walls they’d been confined in, which was good. What wasn’t good, however, was the fact that the only thing they could see around them was grass. A lot of grass. Literally nothing but grass. Grass that reached far above their heads, pointed at the blue sky above.
At least that answered one question, but at the same time it created a MILLION NEW ONES.
Nobody said a word.

She had somehow, and truly she had no idea, developed an.. attachment of sorts. Someone she'd grown to care for over their partnership. Someone she'd ultimately failed in the end.
And now the result of her failure was lying there on the rug for everybody to see.
