Neil left the AC on, which is a pleasant surprise and soothes most of Billy’s regrets. The room is cool and comfortable instead of as hot as Satan’s butthole, and Billy throws himself stomach-down onto the clean white sheets of their freshly made bed, not caring about getting sweat or residual sunscreen on it.
“This is the perfect vacation,” he announces to the room entire while Neil fumbles with the Bluetooth speaker to set up the specially curated cruise ship sex playlist.
“I know,” he says, “I couldn’t go back to fucking London after this. Living a luxurious and carefree life on a small island, that’s the dream.”
