Summary
“Oh, right – Alhaitham.” Kaveh claps a hand to his forehead. “Cyno, if you see him at the Akademiya tomorrow, don’t mention this to him, would you? I haven’t told him yet.”
“Told him?” Cyno asks slowly, a wary glint in his eye. “What exactly haven’t you told him?”
“That I’m getting married,” Kaveh grimaces. “I wanted to tell him myself – I suppose I do want him at the wedding after all, you know – but I didn’t get a chance yet. You know what it’s like, trying to have a conversation with him.”
It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife.
Kaveh is a single man. That's about it, really.or: the one in which Kaveh gets married, but not to whom you think.

AHHHH this one is so goooood. It’s perfect it’s perfect, it has the build of them, the synergy, the contrasting individuality AUGHH
Fresh, somehow portrays an identity blindspot that’s not tediously painful, but genuinely exciting.
And the yearning is so subtle it’s SWEET.

Summary
“I can take care of myself just fine. I don’t need you or anyone else for that matter.” Kaveh said, turning his nose upwards and his body away, already preparing to exit the conversation. “I’m going to my room, I’ve reached my limit for how long I can put up with you.”
“If it’s really such a bother, perhaps you’ll finally move out of my house.”
“You’re insufferable and I resent you greatly.” Kaveh added quickly before very dramatically walking to his room and slamming the door behind him.

(or, Kaveh begins to receive the admiration of a man Alhaitham doesn’t know, so he deals with it the only way he knows how: through research)

Alhaitham and Kaveh’s intelligence all the more apparent, but their dense bickering and too-subtle intentions done so well, as well! This one is really well rounded,,

Summary
After a meeting between the Reigning Monarch of the Infinite Realms and the Justice League, King Phantom asks Superman to stay behind for a moment. Superman is a little hesitant, but they’ve just agreed to a peace treaty between the lands of the living and the dead, and apparently someone on the king’s council has something they’ve been waiting to say.
Not just a message for Superman. A message for Clark Kent.

Hey,, hey. We can’t let this just be. Hate to exaggerate, but. This story kind of represents the greatness of fanfic to me. Haha.
This understands the heartbeats of a story, the original soul of what people love. The wit and involved storytelling, the incredible interpersonal dynamic. AH. But adding and giving and giving to it, with a product of more world, more feelings, and more moments a reader could spend with the characters they long to learn more about, spend more time with.
Good fics make people feel big emotions, and this one had me a little giddy I’ll be honest. I’d trust the characters I love with authors who write stories like this. It’s a pretty great story.
