Seonghwa’s eyes widened a fraction. “You're still fighting me,” he observed, wonder in his tone. “Remarkable.” He leaned in slightly, a teasing flicker in his eyes, almost as if he was playing. Playing with his prey. “But not enough.”
With another subtle push of power, the compulsion deepened, and Mingi’s body stilled completely, though his mind continued to race. Seonghwa’s gaze dropped to the scarf around Mingi’s neck, curiosity glimmering in his gaze. “Why are you hiding, little one?” he asked, his voice soft but cutting. “Take that off.”

"You're enough, hyung," Yunho whispered, close to his ear. "You don't have to put up a front for us." Seonghwa hummed. "Even your bad days are electric."
He turned his head to the side, their faces so close their noses brushed. Seonghwa smiled teasingly. "So corny, Yunho-ya." He laughed it off, trying not to think about how close they were, how dark Seonghwa's eyes looked in the moonlight, about the striking sharpness of his features. He was reminded once again of that magnetic intensity that had him dominate every stage he was on, even when he wasn't the center, even when he wasn't trying.

It seemed to take a great toll out of Seonghwa, looking at him so openly. Yunho realized he could put an end to this right here, right now; the days of not talking unless forced to, of pointless tension, of sitting on opposite ends of a room and only looking when they thought the other wasn't paying attention. But Yunho always was. He couldn't help himself.
"Yeah?"
The spell broke. Seonghwa looked away. "Forget it. It's nothing."
At that, Yunho's temper flared. It wasn't easy to get him riled up. But, oh, when that happened, it was a rare sight. His look darkened, his demeanor shifted. Seonghwa's eyes widened as he witnessed the change.
