Professor Damian Reddik is taking on his first sponsorship this year. As he has completed his 5 year trial period, this year he is tasked with taking a student under his wing. Usually this is a voluntarily task, but thanks to his troubled past, he is assigned this particular student by his old boss, who he owes a favor.
Layla Moretti is the hidden daughter of one of New York’s biggest crime families. She’s studied privately at home for her entire life. She’s known nothing but body guards and rules. After years of begging, she finally convinced her father to let her attend private university after completing some online college courses.
After receiving the news of her assigned sponsor, Layla was upset that her father tricked her into having a constant body guard. But to her surprise, Damian isn’t the typical hands off stoic body guard she’s always known. He’s smart, and dominating. She can’t boss him around like she could the others, this isn’t her territory anymore. It’s his.
