Summary
When Rover lets go of his hands, Scar goes to move them, to touch, as he so desperately craves, but Rover freezes him in place with only a glance, before he speaks, deep and slow, “Keep them there.”
There is a song of some sort starting in the back of Scar’s head. It matches Rover’s voice note for note.
Scar laughs, breathlessly, putting his hands back into the exact position Rover had left them in.
Scar gasps against the hand that presses into his resonance marking, the bruises that will surely bloom along his throat like precious jewelry- a collar of violence, an imprint of his blessed hand.
After the events of the Main Quest, sometime in the future, Scar escapes prison- Rover tries to stop him. Scar tries to catch him off-guard. It backfires and Scar (literally) eagerly catches flame.
