Geoffrey has been out of Dr. Jonathan Reid's care for only a week and already he's trying to push himself even though he is still recovering. And how will the Guard of Priwen feel about their leader being so friendly with a leech? Leeches are, by nature, liars. Yet, oddly, McCullum appears to have placed his trust in one. Summary
Dr. Jonathan Reid had only gone and saved the bloody world. Yet, a certain Irish vampire hunter still views him as a threat to humanity. The good doctor has almost given up hope that they will never be more than enemies when said stubborn hunter ends up severely injured in the sewers. Reid comes to his rescue and takes it upon himself to make sure he recovers to rejoin the hunt. Will Geoffrey finally appreciate everything Jonathan has done, and see him as more than a leech? Probably not.
