“I’m sorry, I’m sorry,” Midoriya babbles, as Kouta thrashes. Midoriya’s blood is hot on his lips, leaking into his mouth, coating his tongue like thick metallic syrup.
Kouta gags.
“Let me go!” He shouts, muffled through Midoriya’s hand. He jabs his elbow backwards, immediately feeling guilty when he hears the high, pained sound that escapes from Midoriya’s throat. Midoriya’s grip slips and weakens, but he still doesn’t let go.
“I’m s-sorry,” Midoriya repeats miserably, over and over again.
