Summary
Luke Skywalker has triumphed. The Emperor is dead, and his father has returned to the light. But as Anakin Skywalker breathes his last, the Force trembles. Another consciousness, another soul, merges with Luke at this pivotal moment, seamlessly, instantaneously. The result: a Luke still himself, yet subtly, irrevocably changed. Faint memories of another life flicker at the edge of his awareness, two conflicting futures flashing before him.
One: legendary heroism, rebuilding the Jedi Order, becoming the galaxy's protector. The other: a desolate path of loss and despair, ending with him a forgotten hermit. One who dies without changing hardly anything at all. Luke rejects that fate. More importantly, he glimpses a terrifying truth hidden in the shadows: Emperor Palpatine lives. A month ago, John Jameson’s shuttle had been forced to make an emergency landing due to some kind of malfunction. For reasons unknown, it hadn’t been the only thing to come back to Earth. A certain alien slime had hitched a ride on the rocket, marking humanity’s first official discovery of extraterrestrial life. Later, it’d been captured and delivered to Oscorp, the country’s leading biotech firm, to be studied in conjunction with Mr. Fantastic and ESU’s head bio-geneticist, Doctor Curt Connors.
Cue Peter freaking out, memorizing Oscorp’s ventilation layout, sneaking in four days ago to snoop around so he could learn where they kept the alien, devising a plan that involved shutting down the power to said section of the building so no alarms/security measures would be triggered and finally, sneaking in once again to perform his Symbiote Heist™.Or…
What if Spider-Man went out of his way to bond with the Venom Symbiote as opposed to discarding it, and the changes that result.
